On Wednesday, the BSE and National Stock Exchange (NSE) benchmark equity indices on Dalal Street witnessed a much-awaited pull-back.

Top Gainer of the day on the NSE were JSW Steel, Axis Bank, Tata Motors, NMDC among this Induslnd Bank was the top gainer of the day with 5.74% gain.

Top loser of the day on the NSE were Alkem Laboratories, Dabur India, Divi’s Labs, Marico among this Cipla was the top loser of the day with 4.44% loss.

Nifty future levels in advance EP-265, last closed at 17,235.

Share worth Rs. 2,765.84 Crore were Net sold by Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs), whereas shares worth Rs. 3,467.02 Crore was the net bought by Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) on December 01.

US Markets

On Wednesday, more than 1% major averages fell in Wall Street’s after a morning rally faded as investor angst about latest coronavirus variant soared with the first U.S. case confirmation while the market also digested Fed comments on inflation.

1.34% to 34,022.04 to 461.68 points, the Dow Jones Industries Average moved down, whereas the Nasdaq Composite fell 1.83% to 15,254.05 and S&P 500 lost 1.18% to 4,513.04 or 53.96.

Asian Markets

On Thursday, Asia-Pacific shares were struggled for direction concerns over the economic impact of the omicron Covid variant continue to weigh on investor sentiment.

Topix index moved down by 0.54%, were as Japan’s Nikkei 225 lost 0.6% and South Korea’s Kospi added 0.59%.
