Top Gainer of the day on the NSE were Motherson Sumi, Mahindra & Mahindra, Info Edge, Tata Motors among this Maruti Suzuki was the top gainer of the day with 7.29% gain.
Top loser of the day on the NSE were Shree Cement, Adani Transmission, Mothoot Finance, ACC among this HPCL was the top loser of the day with 3.94% loss.

In the Indian Equity Share Market, The available provisional data of the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
Share worth Rs.560.67 Crore were Net sold by Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs), whereas shares worth Rs. 577.34 Crore was the net bought by Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) on October 16.
On Tuesday, Wall Street stocks closed higher as there is earning from Home Depot and retail sales daa signaled solid consumer health and eased worries about a federal reserve which can be more aggressive in the face of rising inflation.
0.16% to 36,144.79 points or 57.34 points, the Dow Jones Industries Average moved up, whereas the Nasdaq Composite added 15,972.52 or 118.68 points or 0.75% and S&P 500 rose to 0.40% or 4,701.44 or 17.68 points.
On Wednesday, Asia-Pacific share were mixed in the early trade and trending lower at end, as markets in the U.S. were lifted on the back of stronger than expected retail sales data.
Japan’s Nikkei 225 moved down 0.3% at the end after trading in green were as Topix index slipped down 0.04%. In South Korea, the Kospi fell 0.81%.
