On July 11, 2022, the key stock indexes on the BSE and National Stock Exchange (NSE) reduced their intraday losses to close with minimal losses.
The Nifty 50 lost 4.60 points (0.03%) to close at 16216.00, while the S&P BSE Sensex lost 86.61 points (0.16%) to conclude at 54395.23.
All sectoral indexes on The NSE ended higher, with the exception of Nifty IT. Nifty Metal and Nifty PSU Bank both increased 1.97 percent and 1.88 percent, respectively, while the Nifty IT lost 3.08 percent.

US equities fell on Monday as market investors entered a week-end packed with important inflation data and the unofficial start of the second quarter earnings season with caution due to a lack of catalysts.
All three of the major US stock indices fell due to market-beating growth stocks, and risk aversion was heightened by Macau’s first casino closure in more than two years to stop the spread of COVID-19.
The Nasdaq Composite plummeted 262.71 points, or 2.26 percent, to 11,372.60 while the S&P 500 lost 44.95 points, or 1.15 percent, to 3,854.43 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average sank 164.31 points, or 0.52 percent, to 31,173.84 respectively.
After Wall Street declined overnight, shares in the Asia-Pacific region were mixed on Tuesday. Early trading saw a 0.83 percent fall in the Nikkei 225 and a 0.71 percent decline in the Topix index in Japan.
Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 increased 0.29 percent while South Korea’s Kospi fell 0.48 percent. Just below the flatline was MSCI’s largest index of Asia-Pacific equities outside of Japan.
The wider Indian index is expected to begin with a loss of 29 points, according to trends on the Singapore Exchange Nifty. On the Singaporean market, the Nifty futures were trading at approximately 16,169 levels.
