Stock Market Highlights
On the weekly Futures & Options expiry session, domestic equity market indexes BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 ended the week with gains, snapping a losing trend.
The volatility index for India closed 3.53 percent lower, slightly above 19 levels.
The Bank Nifty was higher, and the broader markets followed suit.
The highest gainer on the Sensex was Reliance Industries, which rose 2.6 percent, followed by Dr Reddy’s, Bajaj Auto, and Bharti Airtel.
Tata Steel was the worst-performing Sensex stock, down 3.84 percent, followed by Ultratech Cement and NTPC.
